Both the U16’s and 18’s maintained their 100% records with wins over Garryowen & Ennis respectively at the weekend
The U18’s had a 26-6 win on Sunday away to Ennis in the north Munster U18’s league. Bruff try scorers were Dylan Reeves-Wasik, Kevin McManus (2) & Darren Kennedy. Kevin McManus was on kicking duties landing 3 conversions.

Sean McCarthy was the hero for the U16’s who were away to Garryowen in Dooradoyle on Sunday afternoon. McCarthy came off the bench to score an impressive 50m solo effort which sealed a 35-20 victory over the light blues. Bruff lead 23-10 at half-time thanks to trys from Mike O Grady, John Bateman and a fine intercepted try from Jason Fitzgibbon. Out half Bateman also chipped in with 1 conversion and 2 penalties in the opening 40. Garryowen pushed hard in the 2nd half but a 2nd try for Jason Fitzgibbon gave Bruff a bit of breathing space before substitute McCarthy scored the try of the game which was converted by John Bateman.
