The Irish rugby league team played the English Lions, it was a good game with the Lions too strong on the day.

It’s nearly upon us.
WE’ve only six days to go to the first ever Rugby League international game in Bruff RFC, with the possibility of seeing three of the Munster Champions (Since Yesterday) the Country Cowboys lining out for their country against the Saxon opposition.
With a pre-match kicking off between Bruff and Galbally, the proceedings start at 2:00pm with the main event kicking off on the main pitch at 4:00pm.
Make sure to get there early, this promises to be absolutely jam packed.
Bruff RFC and the Country Cowboys are proud to announce hosting the very first Rugby LEague International ever between Irish Wolfhounds A and English Lions A in Kilballyowen on Saturday 11th August, 2012.
Proceedings will kick off with a warm-up game between Selections from Bruff and Galbally at 2:00pm in a rugby Union game, then we roll across to the Main pithc for the Main event of the day which kicks off at 4:00pm.
Get there early, it’s gonna be a huge day.
