U15’s played the cup final against Old Crescent in LIT at the weekend in a well fought game that finished on a 2 point margin. Both teams on the day gave it their all, and this time Bruff came away with victory. The score was Bruff 26-24 Old Crescent. Try scorers for Bruff were: Brian Fanning (2), Darragh Fanning (1), Owain Quinlan (1) and 3 conversions from Pa Maher.
This is a great end to the season for the lads and thanks must go to their coaches Timmy Quirke, Pat Maher and Eoin Cahill for the tremendous work they do week in and week out, and to the lads for their commitment to training throughout the season.
A very big thank you to all the families who support and turn out to cheer the lads on.
Team: Shane Breen (c), Mikie Walsh, Killian Sheehan, James Keogh, Ethan Mudge, Owain Quinlan, Robert Laffan, Liam O’Dwyer, Conor Mulcahy, Pa Maher, Aaron Daly, Darragh Fanning, Brian Fanning, Ryan Lonergan, Anthony Foley. Subs: Eamonn O’Dea for K Sheehan (40min) Shane O’Connor for A Daly45) Thomas Moroney, Kevin Treacy.
