As everyone knows by now the playing season was brought to an end by the Irfu last week, due to uncertainty brought by the Coronavirus. While the season could be regarded as a frustrating one on the playing front, with endless injuries, and on the back of matches we felt we should have got more out of, it will give us, like all others the opportunity to get our house in order before the league resumes. But there were also some pluses to the year with the return of players coming back from injury, the introduction of more of our underage players to senior ranks, and some excellent performances from our 18s and 20s in their respective leagues. We like to thank everyone at all levels who wore the club jersey this season and also to our players who represented Munster at underage, indeed an honor for their families coaches and club. The Club would to thank everyone involved in the coaching from the minis to senior level and to everyone involved at all women’s rugby who continue to give up their time voluntary, to all the ladies and men who work tirelessly to keep the club afloat, keeping our teams and away teams fed weekend week out. As everyone knows it takes a huge amount of money to keep a club like Bruff in operation and it is very humbling to see so many people give up there time at their own expense for the good of the Club. To our loyal band of supporters and sponsors and to all of our players who travelled the length and breathe of the country for the cause. To the Vale Star to the Limerick leader to 95fm and to Bruff community notes thanks for your coverage.

The Club in its 50th Anniversary year had it in its plan, a Presidents dinner for end of season, this is now on hold but is planned to on the agenda fo our first home game of the new season. The Club launched its club Lotto before Christmas which is primarily an online lotto but can also be joined by contacting any of the Club committee. We would make a special appeal to everyone to continue to support the Lotto as it is in the off season the only way one can show support for only €2 per week.

We will continue to keep everyone updated on happenings on the club front and we appeal to everyone to KEEP SAFE and follow the directive from the HSE website in these difficult times.
