Bruff u17s recorded a great win over Ennis on Sunday morning in the league. Played in ideal conditions in Kilballyowen, Bruff’s try scorers were Cormac Dillon, Philip O’Connell, Alex McAuliffe and Tom O Dwyer. Eoin O Farrell followed up with 3 conversions and a penalty. Final Score was Bruff 29 Ennis 12. We would also like to wish a speedy recovery to the Ennis player who dislocated his knee in an accidental clash.
Our U 17s travelled to Cork on Saturday 25th Sept to play Sundays Well. Unfortunately we were a little unlucky to lose to our hosts on a scoreline of 32-27. We had 30 players who togged out on the day, and we got back in time to witness our senior teams famous win. A big thank you to our hosts on the day.
THe u17’s played their first match of the season…a friendly away fixture to Abbeyfeale which we won on an impressive scoreline of 34-12.
It is our intention to enter teams to compete in the U17 and U19 pan munster competitions this coming season. We have been instructed by the IRFU that the jerseys for these competitions have to be numbered jerseys including substitutions.
