Bruff Junior team defeat Newcastlewest in The Munster Junior Plate.

Bruff 2nd xv defeated Newcastlewest on Sunday in the Munster Junior Plate by 27pts to 17pts.This was a very close  game and was even with 10 minutes left @17pts each.Newcastlewest then  had a player sin-binned and Bruff took advantage of this with a converted try and a drop goal to win by 10pts.Ronan Kirby scored two tries and Leo McGrath also scored one.Brian Carroll scored one try.two conversions and a drop goal.They now play the winners of the St Senan’s/Old Crecent game in the Q-Final on the 9th March away.
