Bruff 15  Young Munster 29
Conceding 3 tries,2 of which were converted,in the first fifteen minutes left us with an uphill struggle in Kilballyowen on Sunday morning.Unbeaten Munsters are a strong talented side and piled on the pressure in the early stages. We recovered from our poor start and took the  game to Munsters and after sustained pressure John Bateman rounded off a great team try touching down in the corner ro leave it 19-5 at the break.
We started the second half well putting the opposition under pressure and looked scoring only to be harshly penalised for not releasing.Munsters cleared their line, went upfield and scored again. They added another try from a tap penalty for crooked in at a scrum,29-5.
We again took the game to Munsters and Michael O Grady got our second try with 10 mins. remaining. We needed a quick score after this and despite sustained had to wait for the last play to score when Michael O Donovan scored in the corner. The early first half tries and the two relatively soft ones in the second half cost us.
Training continues on Wednesday night 7 to 8.30pm.
