Our Seniors make the trip to the capital this weekend for Round 2 of the UBL. Both teams lost last weekend so an interesting and tough match is in prospect. Please note that the kick off is at the later time of 6.30pm in Donnybrook due to Interpros being played there earlier in the day. Updates throughout the game on twitter. Our next home game is next weekend 30th Sept to Sligo.

Bruff RFC’s Senior Cup challenge gets underway this weekend with the visit of Sunday’s Well to Kilballyowen. The match will kick off at 7.30pm on Friday 8th. Winners will get a bye into Semi Final of Senior Cup so there should be great interest in the match. All support as usual is welcome.

Many thanks to all who purchased and indeed sold tickets for the Your Club Your Country. It is a hassle but very valuable to the club funds. We introduced this year a local draw for 3 prizes. The draw was held on Monday night and the President Nicholas Cooke drew the winning tickets.  The winners are as follows

1st Prize  2 tickets to Munster v Racing 92   John White Ballygran

2nd Prize Club Membership   Jim Wallace Limerick

3rd Prize  Club Jersey  Lillian Daly Listowel

Many congrats to all 3.  Lastly Please note due to several local events being held next sunday and the Junior playing in Killarney the proposed Turkey trot is now cancelled.

Happy Christmas to all and we will hopefully see you all in Kilballyowen Saturday 28th Jan when we play Bangor in the UBL.
