It was another disappointing day for the seniors on Saturday as they fell to their forth league defeat of the season away to Navan. Bruff did lead the game for large periods but it was Navan who finished strongest to record a 32.22 home victory. Bruff did however come away with the try scoring bonus point clocking up four try’s on the day from Mark Cosgrove, Liam Tracey, Sean Darcy and Sean Hartigan with one conversion from the boot of Richie McAuliffe.

Next up on for the 1st XV is Tullamore who visit Kilballyowen on Saturday. Bruff won the corresponding fixture 22-15 last season and will be hoping to repeat the result this weekend. KO is a 2.30 pm and all support would be welcomed.
