Or try kayaking on Lough Gur, Horse riding or Golf – all available to book locally.
Well, If you think you can make the grade, here’s what you have to do to qualify. Pull a 5690 lb Land Cruiser up the hill by the clubhouse. (plus obligatory redhead babe driver to steer)
Or how about this? Drag 60kgs 60 metres across the front of the clubhouse.
Or how about the “Farmers Walk” seeing how far you can carry two 50KG weights in two minutes. (equivalent to two 8 stone bags of cement).
Just a sample of what the lads do for fun on an average Saturday morning before they go to watch the Lions game.
Of course, while they were doing this, the development committee were busy putting 21 cubic metres of concrete in the bases for the floodlights on the front pitch and cutting down a few trees to allow the light to get to the corners of the pitch.
Off Season my Arse…..
Munster Rugby : Hayes Called Up to Lions Squad
Congrats to John Hayes who got the call up for the Lions tour. He replaces Euan Murray and arrangements are being made to fly him out ASAP to South Africa.
Maybe there’ll be a Lions Jersey on the Clubhouse wall.
Well done John, It’s well deserved.
I upgraded the website software again over the weekend but managed somehow to miss the fact that one of the navigation panels on top had disappeared with the new WordPress software. Only for Gráinne spotting it it could have stayed that way for a while.
Anyway, We got it fixed this morning and even eventually figured out how to get them in alphabetical order
If you missed it then don’t worry the only difference is the layout of the navigation panel.
(Thanks again Gráinne).
