U13’s were at home this weekend playing Young Munster. Bruff were the stronger side on the day and the game finished with a scoreline of 36 – nil.
Bruff U13’s recorded their first league win of the season with a tough 10-5 win over Richmond in Kilballyowen.Lock Thomas Breen scored in injury time in the first half to leave Bruff leading 5-0 at halftime. Shortly into the second half a great offload from Richard Bateman saw prop Mark Bromell crash over to make it 10-0, Centre John Bulfin was very unlucky with the resulting conversion. With 10 minutes remaining Bruff conceded a try to make it a nervous finale but despite Richmond’s best efforts Bruff held on. Well done to all, Training as normal at 7 on wednesday night.
