The New Rugby Season is upon us and we recommence Mini Rugby training on Sunday 2nd September. Registration for the new season will commence Sunday morning from 10:15 am onwards.

Mini Rugby for players (boys & girls) from the age of 6 – 12 takes place every Sunday morning from 10:30 am until 11:30 am. NEW Members are always welcome to Kilballyowen Park, so come along and give it a try.

Youth Rugby for players from the age of 13 – 18 takes place from 11:30 am. Again, NEW Members are always welcome.

The Bruff RFC Munster Rugby Summer camp came to conclusion last Friday the 10th August. The camp was attended by approximately 43 boys and girls who enjoyed the camp.

Thanks to the coaches from Munster Rugby that ran an enjoyable camp throughout the week. The coaches who ran the camp were Pat Fitzgerald, Evan Cusack & Ed Hennessy. The camp was coordinated by Ed Daly.

Munster players who came along to the camp were Ronan O’Mahony and Calvin Nash.

Just a reminder that the end of season BBQ takes placed this evening from 7 pm to 9 pm. The medal presentation to the victorious Junior team that won the Munster Bowl and the Under 18 team who won the North Munster Cup will take place also this evening. All age grade Mini’s, boys & girls from Under 7 to Under 18 are welcome to attend.

Bruff RFC are launching the Give It A Try Program (GIAT) starting next Wednesday evening 6th June for the months of June and July. The aim of the program is to get young girls interested in playing rugby and being active.

Training commences at 7 pm every Wednesday evening at Kilballyowen Park and is open to girls of all ages. There is no requirement to have played rugby previously, come along, participate and have some fun.
