The u17’s played highfield in pan munster this weekend. The game was a hard battle from start to finish and by half time bruff led by 3 -0 after a long range penalty kick from paul downes against a very strong wind. A wind assisted 2nd half should have made things a bit easier for bruff but despite a couple of near chances of getting over the line bruffs only score of the half once again came from a penalty . The last few minutes were played within our own 22 but the lads defended well and held highfield scoreless. F.t score 6-0. (Paul downes 2pens. )
