To add another accolade to John Hayes’s long list, last saturday’s run in that fantastic finish in Thomond Park gave John Hayes the first 100 appearances cap in the Heineken Cup.
At this stage there doesn’t appear to be anything else left for this man to receive except maybe a man of the match accolade at some stage……….

Bruff U17’s earned a hard fought victory overcoming a resilient Tralee team in Kilballyowen on Thursday night. With the weather gods smiling on Kilballyowen Bruff set about the match with their usual determination and were 5-0 up early on when Gavin Reidy crossed the white line. The conversion was missed and Bruff went on to cough up 3 try scoring chances in the first 15 minutes of the game. Tralee then settled into the game and gave Bruff plenty of problems particularly at the breakdown over the next 50 mins or so. Incredibly Reidy’s try proved to be the only score of the game as Bruff prevailed yet again. The defensive display was particularly impressive from the hosts. Our next game is thomond away on Sunday 13th.
