Bruff J1 team travelled to Rathuard to play Presentation in the Munster Junior Cup. The first half ended with Presentation ahead by 3 points at half time. Richie McAuliffe scored a try in the second half and also put over a penalty to ensure victory for Bruff and the game ended with a scoreline 3-8 to Bruff.
