It was a weekend of mixed results last weekend as the Seniors & u18’s both won but the Junior team made their exit from the Junior cup in the opening round of the competition.

The seniors started off the weekend with a win over Old Crescent in the UBL. Both teams went into the game equal on points so a tight game was always on the cards. Mark Cosgrove came off the bench to score the all important try for Bruff which helped us to a 5-3 win over Crescent.

The Seniors now enjoy a break until the 21st of Feb when Midelton are the visitors to Kilballyowen.

On Saturday the u18’s made the best possible start to the pan Munster league with a convincing 24-7 win over Clonmel. Bruff had trys from Oran Ring, Kevin McManus,  Brian Bulfin & Niall Byrnes. McManus also kicked 2 conversions. They make the difficult trip to Waterpark on Sunday to take on the much fancied Waterford side in round 2 of the competition.
