U18’s Results

The u18’s were away to Garryowen last wkend & suffered their 1st defeat of the league .Half time saw G/owen with the narrow lead 5-0 .A sin bin for Bruff early in 2nd half put Bruff under pressure & the gap was widened to 19-0 in a matter if minutes .Bruff fought back  a try & con from Paul Downes got them on the score board .G/owen answered with another try before Jordan kingston gave Bruff their 2nd try with 5 mins remaining .Despite great effort from Bruff the game finished 24-14 to G/owen

The u18’s then got back on track this week with a win over Old Cresent .The game was played in kilballyowen .Bruff gave a great team performance & were deserved winners on a score line of 16 – 0 .Out half Paul Downes scored a try & con & 3 pens .Well done to all on a great game .The lads are at home again nxt week v thomand .
