U17’s Cup match v Old Cresent

                             
U17,s bowed out of the cup last night at the semi final stage to old cresent. At the half way mark it was all to play for with a score line of 3 -3. Old cresent got a try in the first five mins of the 2nd half and then converted it pushing the score to 10-3.  Bruff kept battling and narrowed the score to 10-6 with 20 mins left on the clock. Cresent managed to turn over a ball inside bruffs 22 and got their 2nd try cresent then had an 11 pt lead on the homeside. A late try from brian fanning which paul downes converted brought the score to 17 -13 but unfortunately  time was against bruff and this was to be the end result.
