The u15’s lost their 2nd final of the season with a 13-8 defeat to NCW in the North Munster cup on Tuesday evening. Played in terrible conditions Bruff battled right to the end and came close to scoring right at the death but they just couldn’t get over the NCW line.

It was another harsh lesson for this bunch who have now lost 3 finals in 2 years. No doubt the experience will stand to them and they will had learned for the experience. A very hard working & honest bunch they’ll come back fighting 🙂

The u16s had to work hard to see off Ennis in the semi-final of the North Munster Cup on Sunday . Bruff stormed out of the blocks scoring 3 first half tries thanks to John Bateman, G Carew & Mikey O Grady. Calum Winship added a 4th Bruff try in the 2nd half but that was the end of the Bruff dominance as,  Ennis battled hard scoring 2 tries of their own in the closing stages. Bruff eventually won out on a scoreline of 22-13 and now go on to meet Garryowen in the final next Tuesday night at 7pm in Thomond park.

This will be the 6th final of the season that a Bruff underage team has contested.

The u18’s exited the Open cup last weekend with a 24-17 loss to UL Bohs.
