Our 20s travelled to Cork on Saturday last to play Dolphin in the 20 league, Dolphin started the game strongly, and with a distinctive weight advantage up front exerted their dominance and took a 3-0 lead from a penalty kick. But this seemed to kick start the lads and responded with a 5 pointer from Darragh o Connell. Our forwards were now winning breakdown ball and a lovely move which saw Paudie Mulcahy release Adam Dwyer in turn found Ger Donworth after breaking a number of tackles found the impressive prop Dylan o Leary to touch down to make it 10-3. Dolphin replied before half time to make it 10-8. Bruffs young coach Richie Mccauliffe must have uttered some words of wisdom at halftime with Bruff playing some lovely running rugby on the plastic surface of independent park, running in a further 5 second half try’s. With some excellent displays all round, with Ger Donworth controlling proceedings from full back and John Sheehan up front saw us winning out on a 41-18 scoreline.

Huge credit to Team Manager Ciaran o Callaghan for his endless work with this bunch of lads who now have won 3 out of 4 so far
