I've been requested to make it easier to get at the photos in the different photo sets, so I've now included a quick link Directly to Photos on the top link bar. There's also a link to all the latest Pages from the papers and Online news sites on the bottom right which automatically updates as and when the news is put online.

New mural is finished

We’ve finally got a new mural on the side wall of Sinead Dennehy’s.

This replaces the Patrick Sarsfield mural which used to grace the wall of the former Treacy’s Pub (Now demolished to improve the turn at the junction).

I like it anyway, and in my opinion it has enhanced the character of the town again. Did Ger and Marian know what the painting of the fairy tale on the side of the pub would cause in the new millenium??

They can honestly say that they started a trend…

we need more of the same, we’re getting a reputation for it.
