U15’s played a friendly against Estuary at Kilballyowen on Thursday evening. Bruff were the stronger team on this occasion and emerged clear winners on the night.
The U17’s have had two matches over the last few days. On Thursday 3rd March they played Thomond and result was 12 – 18 to Thomond. Try scorers for Bruff were Mikie Cooke and Billy Mulcahy and David O’Grady scored a conversion.
On Sunday morning they played Kilfeacle at home in Kilballyowen and were unlucky on the day, match finished on the close scoreline of 12-13 to Kilfeacle. Tom O’Dwyer and Eamonn Costello scored the tries and David O’Grady a conversion.
Bruff U17’s play in the Munster Quarter Final next Saturday against Sunday’s Well in Musgrave Park. KO is at 12.30pm. All support welcome.
The U15’s league campaign came to an end on Sunday last to a much stronger Old Crescent side. Bruff were the first to score and had 7 points on the board ten minutes into the game with a try and conversion from Anthony Foley. The half time score saw bruff trailing 12-7. Old Cresent played a much stronger 2nd half and had 3 more tries and 2 conversions leaving the end score 33 – 7.
U14’s played a friendly against Eastuary this weekend. Bruff came out winners on the day Bruff 22 Eastuary 19.
