Bruff RFC Statement regarding the U15 League game between Bruff and Shannon
By Administrator | January 25th, 2010 | Category: Club | No Comments »Following an internal investigation and a special meeting of the Executive Committee, Bruff RFC confirm that an incident took place during the Under-15 North Munster League game between Bruff RFC and Shannon RFC on Sunday, 24th January in Kilballyowen Park
An underage Bruff player was the victim of an assault by an adult not associated with Bruff RFC. It is a strict policy of our Club that child welfare takes precedence over any other matter.
Because a child was involved in the incident, we contacted our child protection officer and immediately followed the procedures as laid down by the IRFU, contacting all relevant legal, statutory and Union authorities.
