In rugby matters, its great to have the games back and back to capacity crowds, in all sports.

A TRIP TO NZ NEXT SUMMER WITH THE IRISH RUGBY TEAM…..2 return flights, full accommodation and  some spending money for the lucky winner.

this year, its all on line, and it seems people are finding it more straight forward to use lap tops rather than their phones.

remember, the prize has to be used by the person named on the ticket, so use names of people over 18 only.

all proceeds go to our underage Developement  so please continue to support us by buying a ticket for this raffle.

On Saturday last we welcomed City of Derry in a game that we really needed a result, after what has been somewhat a disappointing and unlucky start to the season. We got off to an excellent start when Johnny Cleary saw a gap and went under the post’s Davy kicked the extras an we were 7-0 up Tom o Dwyer extended the lead 8 minutes later after we had put Derry under a lot of pressure. Credit to Derry who replied with a try and convert to make it 14-7. Johnny help himself to a second try and again Davy kicked the conversation for us to go in at the break 21-10 ahead. The 2nd half saw us lose our hooker to the bin but the rest done him no harm as he claimed the bonus point try after coming back on. Further try’s from Graham Whelan and Mark Fitz his 3rd in 2 games took us to to 38 before Derry scored a consolation try on the stroke of full time to finish 38-15. Next up in 2 weeks time is Omagh away.
