Very busy day at Kilballyowen this morning with all our pitches alive with activity . We saw the Underage girls join up with our good friends from Garryowen RFC this morning and we would like to say many thanks to all the girls & coaches for making it such an enjoyable morning. U15’s travelled to UL Bohs today in their first match of the season, the hosts on the day proved to be too strong for the Lads. A fine performance from all our squad that got game time on the day and the weather conditions were appalling to be honest with some very heavy showers towards the end of the match. This was our first match since lockdown and fine team performance to be honest although the score line may suggest otherwise. Saturday we had our U16s girls travel to Shannon and both teams showed some great skills – ball handling and some fantastic running lines on the day , this was a very close match with the final result to be a draw both teams racking up 22 points. Another great game this morning saw our U13s host St Mary’s RFC on the main pitch again another first game and this was a pleasure to watch and great to see the boys be back in action again. Just a note that our club shop is open every Sunday for any gear needed. And the ladies inside the clubhouse are always there for teas & coffees. See you all at training next week !!

Under 12s back in action for the first time since March 2020 great win in Kanturk

Aidan Carroll, Hugh Flanagan and Cathal Garvey after tonight’s game vs South Munster as part of a 3 game series within the province over the last number of weeks.

All 3 have made the cut to go on and train with the Munster club side. Well done guys.

We would like also to wish our Under 18’s Player Kieran O’Shea a speedy recovery who is in hospital at the moment. All your team mates are wishing you a speedy recovery.
