The Seniors had a good win in the Munster senior cup on Friday night when they defeated Sundays Well 24.0 at home in Kilballyowen park. Bruff had a first half try from Tony Cahill which was followed shortly after by a penalty try which was a result of Sundays Well deliberately collapsing a maul close to their try line. Davie O Grady added a conversion and a penalty to make it 17.0 at half time. The second half was a closer affair producing very few chances for either side. Bruff did score a converted try with the touch down credited to Odharn Ring who was on hand to finish a free flowing move in the corner.

UBL Kicks off this weekend

Omagh are the visitors to Bruff this weekend for the opening game of the Ulster Bank League. Bruff had a poor start to last season’s campaign losing their opening three games before going on a run which saw them finish the season just outside the play off places. Omagh were promoted from the junior league and showed good form in the in Round Robin to secure promotion. Kick-off is 2.30pm in Kilballyowen and a big home support would be appreciated.
