The U17 team march on to the final of the league on Wednesday evening in Garryowen (changed from original venue) at 7pm kick off. They beat Old Crescent on Sunday 14-7. Try scorers on the day were: Philip O’Connell and Brian Finn and David O’Grady put over 2 conversions.
Bruff Rfc wish the team continuing success as they play in the League Final this Wed evening and the Cup Final on the following Wed evening. Both matches are at LIT with kick off time of 7pm.
The U17 team will be contesting the Cup Final in Garryowen (changed from original Venue) on Wednesday 27th April against Bohs. Kick off will be at 7pm and all support welcome.
U15’s played the cup final against Old Crescent in LIT at the weekend in a well fought game that finished on a 2 point margin. Both teams on the day gave it their all, and this time Bruff came away with victory. The score was Bruff 26-24 Old Crescent. Try scorers for Bruff were: Brian Fanning (2), Darragh Fanning (1), Owain Quinlan (1) and 3 conversions from Pa Maher.
This is a great end to the season for the lads and thanks must go to their coaches Timmy Quirke, Pat Maher and Eoin Cahill for the tremendous work they do week in and week out, and to the lads for their commitment to training throughout the season.

U17’s played Garryowen last night in the cup semi-final. Tries by Mikie Cooke, Gavin Reidy, Eamonn Costello and 3 conversions by David O’Grady ensured victory for the team. Game ended on Bruff 21 Garryowen 17. The U17’s are out again this Sunday morning in the League Semi-Final at Kilballyowen. Kick off there will be at 11.30. All support welcome. On the following Wed night they are provisionally scheduled to play in the Cup Final, please keep the evening free, once time/ date confirmed I will put it up on the website.
