We have a limited number of tickets for these games so they will be sold on a first come first served basis.
Bruff Seniors traveled to Dooradoyle on Saturday to compete in the Meteor Munster Sevens Tournament. They were drawn in Group A with Garryowen, Thomond,Midleton, Sundays Well. Bruff defeated Garryowen, Midleton and lost to Thomond. In the last game of the Group stage they needed to beat Sundays Well and score eight tries to win the Group on tries scored.
Bruff beat Sundays Well but could only score 4 tries and this meant that Garryowen won the Group by virtue of having scored 3 more tries than Bruff. Garryowen contested the Senior Cup Final against UL Bohs.
Bruff qualified for the Senior Plate Final against Old Crescent. An exciting game took place and the rugby played was top class. Bruff were down by 5 pts, and in the last-minute Mike Carroll scored a brilliant try and Brian Cahill converted to seal the win by 24 pts to 22 pts.
So another trophy wings it way to Killballyowen, well done to all the players and management.
UL Bohs defeated Garryowen in the Senior Cup final.
It is our intention to enter teams to compete in the U17 and U19 pan munster competitions this coming season. We have been instructed by the IRFU that the jerseys for these competitions have to be numbered jerseys including substitutions.

Bruff RFC win Midleton Tournament.
A Bruff selection travelled to Midleton to take part in the Midleton Tens competition at the weekend, staying overnight in cork to celebrate their success in the competition.
Along the way to their fabulous win they met AKA from South Munster, Skibbereen and Midleton at the group stages, winning all three games.
They then met Dolphin in the semi-final, winning by 25 points to 23 and came up against AKA South Munster in the final winning by a 19 points to nil margin.
Congrats to the lads on their first outing of the season, and let’s hope that the rest of the year will continue in this vein.
